Nashville SC Opposes Anti-LGBT Legislation
Nashville SC, current USL and future MLS team, has come out publicly against anti-LGBT legislation making its way through the Tennessee legislature.
NFL’s Tennessee Titans also have come out against the legislation, which includes bills that would allow adoption agencies to discriminate and require the state government to support schools that discriminate against transgender students. Hosting this year’s NFL Draft, the Titans likely have future league hosting opportunities in mind.
In MLS, Atlanta FC owner Arthur Blank has opposed anti-LGBT legislation in Georgia and the New England Revolution joined with other Robert Kraft-owned teams in supporting transgender non-discrimination legislation in Massachusetts.
